Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I was told in January that I have gallstones, and need to remove my gallbladder. I haven t had any issues since January, and have decided to put off on surgery. Now I feel tired and fatigued all the time. Can gallstones cause me to feel tired and restless all the time?
Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic. I can understand your concern. Gall stones can lead to decreased absorption of fat soluble vitamins in your body, and therefore lead to severe fatigue and weakness. You must get rid of the gall stones as soon as possible. Get your Vitamin levels checked, especially for Vit. D. Have milk and milk products, but caution not to over eat because your gall stones will delay digestion and lead to bloating.
Take care, Regards
